Our objective was to demonstrate that Sportv offers far more than Olympic coverage.Beyond the competitions, the channel tells the athletes' stories, explores behind-the-scenes moments, and delivers richer, more comprehensive sports journalism.
Although a different campaign had already been approved for production, everything changed when the devastating floods struck southern Brazil.
As soon as we heard about the athletes' extraordinary actions, it became clear that their heroism deserved recognition.
Their story perfectly reflected the kind of inspiring content that defines Sportv.The campaign launched with a film celebrating their journey.
Interestingly, several other brands had approached the athletes for advertising opportunities, but they declined.
They had acted to help people, not to seek publicity.
They accepted our invitation only because they saw it as a tribute to the values of sport and, above all, the Olympic spirit.The campaign's impact extended beyond the screen.
Inspired by the film, Decathlon approached Sportv and, together with both agencies, developed a sponsorship initiative to support the athletes through the 2028 Olympic Games.
