That’s exactly what Evaldo Mathias Becker and Piedro Tuchtenhagen did. During one of the largest natural disasters in Brazil’s history, the athletes gave up the chance to compete in the Paris Olympic Games and pursue their dream in order to help with rescue efforts during the devastating floods in southern Brazil.
